For the Azerbaijan Media Centre in Baku, International Media Support (Denmark) seeks a:

Project Officer
 
Responsibilities include the development and management of projects and activities in the field of media and communication. This may include preparation of grant proposals and budgets, organization of projects (e.g. trainings and conferences), managing events in the AMC and narrative reporting.
 
The project officer should have minimally three years of proven journalistic experience, preferably within the mainstream Azeri media. He/she should have earned credibility as a balanced reporter and have a good understanding of the challenges for media in Azerbaijan. A network among journalists and editors is an asset, experience with development and management of grant proposal is desirable.

The position requires excellent communication skills, and an outgoing, hands-on and flexible mentality. Fluency in Russian/Azeri is required. English language is desirable.
