The Sales Executive is responsible for supporting the Sales team in bringing new and return business to the hotel.

• Achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
• Preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
• Soliciting business through action plan preparation, execution and follow up
• Communicating effectively verbally and in writing with internal and external customers, clients and guests while ensuring that professional, prompt and engaging service is extended
• Coordinating and supporting all aspects of sales activities including participating in tradeshows and related promotional events, taking initial inquiries, generating leads and proposals, managing referrals, drafting and processing contracts and their contents, blocking space etc.
• Conducting site inspections, familiarization tours, trade shows and functions within the hotel
• Maintaining an accurate count of all Sales collateral
• Maintaining accounts, contacts, activities and business details within the appropriate software applications
• Processing returns of contracts and distribute through proper channels internally
• Possessing and sharing knowledge of the Brand products including accommodation, meeting facilities, history and heritage, activities and local programming
• Actively participate in industry and hotel training programs
• Being an effective team player within the Sales team and with other hotel departments
• Actively seeking opportunities to improve systems and procedures
• Willing to manage additional responsibilities and duties as required
• Participating in at least one hotel committee (e.g. Health & Safety Committee)
• Attending all Sales meetings and other meetings as required
• Other duties as assigned


• Minimum of one year of sales experience, preferably in a hotel, with proven results required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Azerbaijani and English, and Russian, preferably
• Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows, Opera Sales & Catering / Opera Sales Force Automation and Property Manager
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills
• Articulate, self-motivated, energetic and positive team-player
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Positive team player who is highly responsible and reliable
• Confident, well-groomed, pleasant telephone and personal disposition
• Enjoys challenges, works well under time pressure, thinks ahead and is extremely committed to the job
