Position: Finance Director

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Driving the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks.
• Retaining constant awareness on the financial position of the organisation, acting to prevent problems, Implementing an effective financial forecast;
• Working closely with the Senior Management Team to create and implement the financial strategy, presenting findings and specific recommendations
• Plan, develop, organise, implement and evaluate the financial functions of the organisation - capital expenditures, effective cash flow forecasting etc.;
• Set targets for and supervising all accounting and finance, investment personnel.
• Ensure adherence to local legislation and guidelines
• Update and implement policies, procedures and manuals.


• Experience in the overall of finance functions:  treasury, accounting, budgeting and reporting, cost accounting, finance, cash management, risk management;
• Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory actions;
• Managing the timely production of high-quality financial reports;
• Strong understanding of investment funds, investment banking;
• Strong project management and plan execution skills with the ability to respond to multiple competing priorities;
• Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance, accounting or audit, minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior role (Big 4 experience is an advantage)
• Deep understanding of IFRS standards, budgeting & forecasting, financial modelling, financial reporting and Tax and other Legislations;
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance (MBA is an advantage)
• Certification in the necessary field (ACCA, CFA, CIMA are advantages)
• Fluent language skills (Azerbaijani, Russian, English)
• exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• analytical and critical thinking skills
• Advanced user of MS Excel and accounting software
• Leadership and direction of the team to accomplish tasks well and timely;
• Analysing and interpreting trends requiring management's attention;
• Drive annual evaluations and financial leadership succession plans;
