Procurement Coordinator

The candidate must be from oil and gas, have at least 3-4 years of relevant experience, has EPR knowledge and be fluent in Russian, Azeri and English.


• Receive documented proposals or quotes & record tender information incl. Vendor price, delivery terms and conditions
• Ensure that all relevant information, drawings & procedures called for on the purchase requisition or any relevant specification are enclosed with the purchase order
• Ensure that goods and services are procured only from approved vendors
• Preparation of Purchase Orders
• Liaise with suppliers by fax, telephone and mail (as required).
• Send RFQ’s (with all the relevant details) to suppliers
• Liaise / Notify with Expeditor after order has been placed
• Handing over the certifications to the QC department and finished purchase orders to the Contracts dept
• Maintain a manual file / log of Purchase orders with Date of Purchase, Job No, level of inspection, originator or traceability for back up of ERP
• Work to department KPIs
• Update the approved vendor’s list
• Liaise with Finance Deptt. to ensure timely and correct payment of supplier invoices
• Have an awareness of FOREX updates
• Records of all purchase & related transactions
• Supplier database
• Meet or exceed all targets and objectives i.a.w functional KPIs and defined strategy
• Other duties assigned by Direct Manager


• At least 3-5 years of experience as Procurement Coordinator
• Bachelor degree
• Proactive and assertive
• Excellent communication skills
• High standards of integrity
• Enthusiastic and flexible
• Computer literate
