POSITION: Senior HR Specialist

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Assist the director of the department in ensuring efficient and smooth operation of the Human Resources department, ensure strict adherence to the policies and procedures, envisaged in internal operation procedures.
- Ensure awareness of internal rules and procedures and implementation of these rules.
- Cooperate with the heads of other departments and implement hiring process
- Manage all visa and immigration operations as appropriate.
- Ensure the process of continuous updating of employees’ documentation, oversee annual leaves, business trips as well as sick leaves of the employees.  Manage all internal transfers.
- Coordinate the performance appraisal system and implementation of employee replacement plan.
- Consult employees on career perspectives, personal issues, job related problems, complaints, etc.
- Update trainings on internal department operations on an annual basis.
- Attend career fairs.
- Establish and maintain effective working with colleagues and other departments.

- Attend training sessions and meeting, when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, associates and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet multiple tight deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with excellent typing skills.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, reasoning, motivating, organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Confidentiality.
- Flexible and possess initiative to see all assignments and projects through to completion unsupervised.
- Highly personable.
- Fluent in English/Azeri/Russian both written and verbal required. Turkish desirable.

EDUCATION:

Degree in Business Administration

EXPERIENCE:

3 years of relevant experience or similar supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
