Supply Chain Manager

Caspian Geo LLC is looking for a Supply Chain Manager.

General duties:

 To understand the supply chain requirements of the internal departments within the company, including seismic technology, maritime vessels and data processing. 
 To build strong business relationships with internal key personnel to fulfil the purchase requirements of the company.
 To negotiate with local and international vendors.
 To manage contracts with common carriers to support the transportation for incoming and outgoing shipments
 Manage the logistics process including the custom clearance.
 Stay informed of advances in supply chain technology for implementation within the organization to assist the supply chain process.
 Maintain key performance indicators, monitor ongoing performance, and improve performance in alignment with established goals

Requirements for the position

 Minimum 5 years Supply Chain Management experience (ideally in the Oil and Gas Industry-Maritime Vessel and Technical Equipment)
 Knowledge of Azerbaijani and English (fluent) is mandatory, Russian is an asset
 University degree in relevant field (Business Administration or Operations Management will be an asset)
 A skilled communicator with an aptitude for effective oral and written information exchanges with internal and external contacts at all levels.
 Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and communicate efficiently with the third parties and internal departments.
 Knowledge of supply chain management software (is preferred.)

 Full-time, salaried position (Salary is negotiable)

 Monday: Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 18:00 p.m.
 Working environment: office based with field visits
