Programme Assistant
(GS-5 level, Fixed-Term Appointment. Vacancy № 02/19)


As a Programme Assistant, you will support the respective section through providing a range of procedural, administrative, operational support in developing, implementing, executing and monitoring the country programme, ensuring timely and effective delivery that is consistent with UNICEF rules and regulations.  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the work of the organization is required;
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative or clerical work experience is required;
- Good knowledge of computer management and standard software application is essential;
- Experience in SAP is an asset;
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Azerbaijani is required. Russian is desirable.
- In addition, we would consider prior experience working in the UN system or other international development organizations, to be beneficial.

This position is only open to citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
