We are recruiting the Front Office Supervisor, who should be responsible for the smooth running of a shift and lead a team of receptionist and bellboy. In detail this means:

• Provides cover in all areas of the Front Office Department as and when required
• Manage and monitor activities of all employees in the Front Office department during duty time, making sure they adhere to the standards of the property.
• Is fully conversant with all Front Office departmental policies and procedures
• Assist to prepare, implement and report on departmental goals and training plan
• Makes sure that Front office staff delivers quality guest services within department and corporate standards and guidelines.
• Maximize room occupancy at best rates and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
• Understand and demonstrate correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy
• Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems
• Demonstrate current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area
• Monitors and ensures compliance with all guidelines to operations
• Ensures all employees are in proper uniform and properly groomed
• Ensures employees are working in a safe environment
• Assists in the response and resolution of all guest issues received directly from guests of from other associates
• Ensures all employees are adhering to proper cash handling procedures and monitors overage/shortages
• Promotes teamwork and associate morale
• Keeps associated informed regarding new operational procedures, standards or programs

Personal Requirements:

• Minimum of one-year previous supervisory experience in in a Mid-scale or Luxury property is required
• Knowledge of Opera PMS is essential
• Fluency in Azerbaijani, English, Russian, both written and oral.
• Provides leadership and motivation to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction
• Focus on exceeding customer expectations
• Ability to work under pressure and stressful situations
