Workplace Interiors LLC looking for candidates to fill the position of “International procurement/ Logistic manager

Main Responsibilities:

• Work with the procurement team and program staff to write specifications for a variety of materials purchases in sector specific areas.
• Identify global vendors and suppliers for unique equipment purchases and manage and maintain excellent vendor relations.
• Supporting the procurement function includes preparing specifications, solicitation documents, managing evaluations, drafting requests for consent for the contracting officer and overseeing vendor selection processes.
• Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts and contracts with suppliers
• Process and complete simple to complex purchase requests; determines prices from available vendors which meet cost and quality guidelines; places orders; verifies receipt of purchase
• Planning and scheduling for delivery of materials and transport of products, respecting safety factors, costs, and schedule.
• Monitor and forecast outbound and inbound transport, allocating resources to meet demand.
• Lead communication with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments .
• Handle claims for lost-in-transit or damaged goods, obtaining replacements.
• Calculate and evaluate diverse factors to choose delivery and transport mechanisms.
• Ensuring equipment is maintained and in good clean legal operating condition.
• Working with managers effectively to execute the policies and goals of the organization.
• Liaising with different departments such as suppliers, managers and so on to prevent any probable delay
• Develop an efficient and accurate system for monitoring all open purchase orders
• Stay abreast of Best Practices, current / future policies and procedures, regulatory / trade requirements, and market dynamics appropriate to function
• Performs other related duties as assigned by Management

Skills

• Purchasing experience (strategic Sourcing/Procurement, Category Management, Contract Management and Supplier Performance Management) typically gained over 3-5 years.
• Extensive experience supporting those at the mid to executive level.
• Strong English language (written and verbal) skills.
• Ability to speak, write, and read a second language preferred.Of Strong communication and analytical skills
• Fluent Azeri and Russian
