Bureau Veritas Azerbaijan is looking for Quality Manager

Duration: Long Term
Reports to: Country Representative
Location: Baku and Around Offshore/Onshore

Purpose: to effectively direct, manage and coordinate the complete Quality Assurance, R&D and Regulatory functions to ensure the optimization of human, material and equipment resources and to ensure that the company objectives relating to cost, quality, safety, and customer service are achieved.

Job Desription:

- Company QA/QC Responsibility
- Controls Technical resourcing, development and management.
- The TM is responsible for managing technical processes and engineering to ensure project success, focused on providing technical services delivery that meets client requirements in a profitable and timely manner.
- Meet with client teams and gather technical requirements prior to engagement.
- Provide direction and technical expertise. Ensure standard operating procedures and project guidelines are in place. Must ensure teams follow the correct procedures, policies and documentation requirements across project phases.
- Provide technical assessment and support during the recruitment of technical hires.
- Provide high-level technical support. Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems.
- Supporting project managers with task allocation and resource coordination.
- Manage team communication. Conduct regular team meetings and track project progress.
- Identify technical resource and equipment requirements, efficient capacity planning and manage software and hardware availability.
- Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for project implementation.
- Work with Project Manager to match resources to available jobs based on skill sets, previous experience & geographical location.
- Must ensure teams follow the correct procedures, policies and documentation requirements across project phases.
- Responsible for ensuring all technical knowledge, processes, and procedures are developed and updated.
- Provide direction and technical expertise in design, development and systems integration.
- Responsible for the acquisition, maintenance and management of all operational tools for Technical Development and Management.
- Provide technical training to teams when required and serve as a technical mentor to team members.
- Able to guide the team through the development, testing and implementation stages and review the completed work effectively.
- ISO 17020, ISO 17021, ISO 17024 and ISO 17025 Accredidation Quality Lead

Qualification: 10 year in quality field, 5 years in related field.
International project experience
English (Advanced)

Preferred: CSWIP 3.1/3.2 or CWI or NDT Level II
Welding Engineer Diploma (Bsc)
Painting Inspection Certificate ( BEGAS)
Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
ISO9001 Lead Auditor
ISO14001 / ISO 45001-2018 Internal Auditor
NEBOSH
