Healthclub reception

• Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Process, verify, and post receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
• Update receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.
• Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers;
• Resolve valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
• Resolve invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures.
• Resolve collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contact with collections department.
• Summarize receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report.
• Manage petty cash balance and post expenses.
• Maintain records regarding payments and account statuses.
• Obtain information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up to date.
• Perform administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, monthly metrics, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.
• Generate reports and statements for internal use.
• Maintain the billing system
• Perform account reconciliations
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally
• Assist with month-end closing
