Offshore Electronics (Instrumentation) Engineer has responsibility over RREP / NPT (Rig Repair / Non Productive Time) that directly attributed to Electronics and Instrumentation maintenance and repair on offshore facility. In this role you will also provide assistance with SAP PM data input for respective areas of responsibility including delivery of offshore maintenance team’s efficiency & productivity.

Key responsibilities:

 Responsible for the provision of all Electronics & Instrumentation maintenance, repair & overhaul and also support for rig maintenance personnel throughout SOCAR AQS operations;
 Assist with the supervision of equipment repair and procurement both onshore and offshore and ensure that it is completed in a timely manner;
 Liaise with Drilling Operations (onshore and offshore) and designated Rig Manager to ensure Electronics and instrumentation activities are planned and coordinated effectively;
 Responsible for ensuring that all relative material goods and equipment are correct and fit for purpose;
 Assist as required with any shutdown or planned stoppage, develop plans and engage with relevant personnel. Including both Shut down and Maintenance work scopes;
 Assist with the onshore and offshore maintenance teams’ engagement in lateral learning and lessons learned bulletins;
 Assist with the control and implementation of start-up documentation transfer between Ops and Maintenance;

Qualifications / Experience / Competencies:

 Relevant University degree
 Minimum of 3 - 5 years in a standalone position;
 Extended knowledge of Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering, with suitable hands on experience
 Experience using CMMS (computerized Maintenance Management Systems) e.g. - SAP or Maximo;
 Understand and be aware of offshore well control requirements and equipment;
 Good knowledge of CompEX and hazardous areas (Competency in Ex atmospheres);
 Knowledge of Siemens Step 7; AutoCAD; MS Access and databases
 English language on intermediate or upper intermediate level ;
 Good communication skills;
