This position is responsible for coordination of maintenance workflow for one or multiple equipment/systems thru SAP PM; planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay of maintenance work order related activities; pre evaluating needs for replacement parts and placing orders via work order system, checking parts inventory and work closely with maintenance and procurement staff to ensure smooth collaboration.


• Responsible for initial screening of incoming work orders, identification of scope, and analysis of required level of planning
• Conducts field walk downs to identify and document job requirements
• Identifies specific safety hazards that will be encountered in the performance of the proposed work
• Develop detailed work- pack for execution of the task, which is including but not limited to: wringing procedures, tasks and job, plans, estimates required hours on work order tasks, total work order duration, and skills required to perform the task, identifying or ordering required spares, identifying required technical support to implement tasks, including contractors, raising call-off with the contractor companies, procures equipment and specialized tools required to perform work
• Plans jobs with appropriate level of detail for the given skilled trades workforce
• Determines and includes QA/QC requirements on jobs
• Gathers necessary engineering or technical documents, specifications, and drawings
• Writes clear and concise work procedures
• Determines and arranges for parts required to perform the work (when no expediter exists)
• Plans parts for all projects to increase “wrench time” and maximize efficiency
• Compiles information into a job package that is ready for skilled trades – clearly communicates with skilled trades regarding critical steps in the process
• Prints and delivers work orders to the skilled trades in conjunction with the weekly work schedule
• Upon completion of jobs, communicates with skilled trades regarding ideas and procedures that would make future jobs more efficient
• Coordinates priority setting with the management team – places specific emphasis on obtaining the input of operations personnel in the setting of priorities
• Keeps bills of materials current
• Can accurately measure the maintenance backlog in its various forms and continually maintains not less than 2 weeks’ worth of ready backlog always
• Responsible for equipment and repair parts data entry and management
• Ensures all work orders and maintenance log items are closed when work is finished
• Participates in outage planning activities such as scope identification and control, scheduling, coordination, risk assessment, execution, and continuous improvement
• Communicates with contractor resources directly on specific work orders assigned to the contractors and the performance expectations of the work order. Does not manage the contractors, but ensures that all the details of the work order are clearly communicated and understood
• Participates with Reliability Department personnel on improvement projects, particularly when they are related to the proactive maintenance plan

• Create all types of maintenance orders
• Plan labor and materials required to execute the orders
• Maintenance orders management & to make sure that all types of orders are closed in time
• Communicate work planning package information to maintenance supervisors
• Review work orders feedback information to improve future planning efforts
• Facilitate validation meetings
• Tracking material/spare parts/consumables delivery
• Create and maintain preventive/predictive maintenance (ppm) tasks/orders via sap to be used in the scheduling process.
• Communicate with maintenance, operations on frequent basis
• Recording performed activities
• Requesting and delivering materials thru work orders
• Tracking work history
• Tracking equipment performance via orders
• Tracking maintenance costs
• Prepares job plans for scheduling, detailing parts, materials, special tools, external services and documentation with planned costs


• Sap pm advanced and related
• Intermediate or above technical expertise or knowledge
• Superior team and project management skills
• Excellent analytical skills and flexibility to changing assignments.
• Creating effective working relationships within other departments
• Strong computer skills in windows office suite (excel, word, etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Be accurate whilst doing work
• Having good planning skills
• Being a good communicator

Education and experience

• Minimum 3-years work experience in operations field (petrochemical preferable)
• Experience with SAP/CMMS systems
• Advanced knowledge of Azerbaijani and English
