Job Purpose

To lead the Procurement for the entire process in the planning of procurement and supply chain activities, inventory control, logistics and distribution, ensuring effectively-functioning processes to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities and stores function for the region to ensure effective management of the supply chain function in order to support operation of the Offshore Assets

Key Accountabilities

• Timely Delivery of Material in order to achieve safe and uninterrupted operation of offshore assets
• Establish Procurement Policies and Procedures
• Formulating and executing negotiation strategies that take full account of supply requirements, whilst ensuring cost reductions.
• Leading negotiations with preferred suppliers and establish strong strategic relationships
• Leading the drive for cost reductions and sustainability in the supply chain with main suppliers
• Maximizing volume leverage with suppliers - combining corporate and global partners volume
• Continually evaluate market conditions and monitor supplier compliance with all contractual terms
• Analyzing trends and forecasts within the marketplace with respect to suppliers, price/cost, quality, availability and technological change.

• Be responsible for introducing process improvements in the supply chain and identify new vendors/suppliers without jeopardizing quality and service delivery
• Ensure full compliance of procurement activities with the company procurement manual, financial rules and regulations, relevant organizational directives and administrative instructions
• Promote a zero-tolerance for violations procurement policies and procedures

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree / Diploma confirming higher education
• International Qualification CPI is preferred

Minimum Experience:

• Min 5 years relevant experience in a similar role preferably in Marine/Oil & Gas Industry

Job-Specific Skills:

• Capable to manage deadlines and priorities
• Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and problem- solving skills
• Must have good working knowledge of Incoterms
• Experience in conducting reporting to Top Management
