Accounting Clerk – Payroll & General Cashier

Part of Responsibilities:

As Paymaster/General Cashier, the candidate will be responsible for banking function and administering the General Cashier fund in a timely and efficient manner as well as for processing the monthly payroll of all Colleagues and maintaining updated payroll records of each Colleague

- Verify and submit various Colleague documentation for further approval, as per the approval matrix. These include vacation requests, final settlements, change of status, HR action forms, loan requests etc.
- Coordinate closely with the Human Resources team for all Colleague documentation and any discrepancies with relation to Colleague records
- Update the payroll system with Colleague bank information prior to salary processing
- Prepare the monthly payroll within the cut-off date and arrange for bank advices to be signed and submitted to the bank prior to the last day of each month
- Prepare all payroll reports and Journal vouchers as per the standards
- Keep updated with Human Resources policies and labor laws
- Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
- Collect the daily deposit in presence of witness from the Hotel safe in accordance with Hotel Standards
- Deposit the daily collection in the designated bank while accompanied by Hotel security in accordance with Hotel Standards
- Prepare the General Cashier Daily Report in a timely manner
- Ensure that the general cashier safe is secure, locked and password/combination is kept confidential. Access to general cashier cabin should be restricted to authorized persons only
- Ensure that the fund is counted and reconciled at the end of the day
- Physical Audit of Departments cash floats.
- To follow procedures for Month- End and provide assistance with Month-End tasks.
- To properly maintain and update archive with all relevant documentation from its field of work.

Requirements:

- Higher education in Finance/Accounting
- Hotel experience
- Good command of English & Russian
- Fluent in MS Office Package, especially MS Excel
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
