Absheron Early Production Scheme (EPS) is an early development phase to target a first gas production mid-2022.
The Full Field Development studies have started based on the promising results of EPS well ABD001.
JOCAP Joint Operating Company of Absheron Petroleum is a new Company created in March 2018, which is the Operator of
Absheron from August 2018.
Absheron development reference agreements are PSA, JOA and addendums.
EPS Project technical data:
152Mscf/d of gas, 12kbbl/d of condensate; production from 1 subsea well, 34km multiphase flowline, dedicated new platform
installed at Oil Rocks field (operated by SOCAR); WHSIP = 555bar, WHFP = 380bar.
JOCAP is changing in 2020 its ERP Enterprise Resource Planning software from UNISOL (SAP extension supported by TOTAL E&P)
to SAP (supported by CIC) and adding PM &MM modules to FI module.


 The ERP Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP) Project Manager facilitates the selection, implementation and support of ERP
(SAP) modules: Business functionality and overall performance, Design, configuration and testing of core FI/PM/MM modules
 Responsible primarily for successful implementation of ERP software (SAP), including providing functional expertise,
guidance, presentation, and instruction on ERP (SAP) products to JOCAP staff.
 Acts as liaison between JOCAP and CIC for troubleshooting: investigates, analyses, and solves software problems and maps
client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops with CIC support necessary product modifications to satisfy needs.
 Analyzing various business operations and needs. Looking for improvement opportunities in business systems
 Assisting in testing process to discover errors and issues in business processes, documentation or user's lack of experience
 Application support and training of end users
 Liaising between business users and CIC application service providers
 Conducting business process Gap Analysis between To-Be design and ERP (SAP) standard Business Processes, and making
recommendations for Process Improvement
 Translating business requirements into ERP (SAP) functional requirements and creating Functional Design Specifications
 Writing functional specifications and preparing training materials
 Assist JOCAP Directorates in the selection, implementation, and user-support of ERP (SAP) modules.
 Uses development and/or consulting skills, business knowledge, and SAP solution expertise to effectively integrate SAP technology into JOCAP’s business environment in order to achieve expected business results.
 Supervising and coaching junior staff in the project if required
 Respect the JOCAP Code of Conduct and Maintain ethical culture at the workplace.


 Comply with the Activities described within the HSE Management System

 Know responsibilities to environmental issues in the work areas

As such his duties and areas of authority are:
 Follow HSE instructions given by Managers and supervisory personnel
 Assure of the safety of his work site before commencing work
 Take the necessary measures to avert immediate threat of danger
 Exercise such caution as is necessary to avoid danger to persons and installations or to avoid pollution
 Use tools, equipment and their safeguards correctly
 Use the provided means of personal protection correctly
 Leave the workplace behind correct and orderly, upon job completion – enforce the Company Clean Desk policy
 Report any anomaly, abnormal conditions and near miss to supervisor
 Participate actively in HSE meetings, safety talks, tool boxes, training sessions and drills
 Co-operate actively in the execution of the HSE plans
Authority to suspend activities when there is a potential or actual threat to human life, the installation or the environment, and notify forthwith the responsible supervisor


 Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Finance / Accounting)
 SAP FI, PM and MM extensive knowledge and experience as SAP employee or consultant
 Experience in SAP FI and CO modules (usually at least 2 - 5 years) - General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost and Profit Center Accounting (CPA) and Internal Orders
 Must have at least one full lifecycle SAP R/3 implementation experience (Project Preparation till Go-Live)
 Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS standards
 Business knowledge and process design skills
 Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations
 Strong organizational skills
 Able to collaborate with clients, and have a strong desire to excel.
 Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
 Good interpersonal skills
 Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload
 Able to Multi-task and work under tight deadlines
 Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision
 Must be an effective problem solver
 Nice to have: Reading and understanding of ABAP code
 Possessing knowledge of software testing procedures
 Fluent in English and Azerbaijani languages, Russian language recommended
