Position: Sales director

Department: sales & marketing

The sales director is obliged:

1. To lead the Sales & Marketing department according to the general rules, established by General Manager.
2. To analyze the different market segments with the purpose of identification of potential customer.
3. To meet regularly with customer for getting comments and makes some activities for increasing competitiveness of the Employer on the market.
4. To analyze all information connected with tourist and hotel business (new law, political social events, expositions etc.).
5. To communicate regularly with customers by phone and during the private meetings.
6. To realize business meetings with the key customers.
7. To develop special proposals, group packages for the purpose of sales volumes increase during a low season.
8. To develop the marketing plan and the budget of the Employer.
9. To observe price policy of the Employer.
10. To organize department work for achievement of the planned indicators according to the budget.
11. To carry out the analysis of the main competitors.
12. To participate actively in public life, visits various events for the Employer promotion in the market.
13. To participate in exhibitions.
14. To organize the Employer participation in local and international exhibitions.
15. To organize and carry out introductory tours.
16. To organize work of Sales & Marketing department to provide high efficiency at available number of the staff.
17. To inform about all changes directly concerning the department.
18. To develop the relations in department, and work with other departments.
19. Develops new advertising materials.
20. To control the realization of public relations.
21. To know all services provided by the Employer, and to control the level of staff knowledge of department for increase the sales volumes.
22. In due time to react to all inquiries and calls from clients. To carry out work with clients at high professional level, according to the accepted standards.
23. To raise constantly the professional level.
24. To keep confidentiality of internal Employer information.
25. To deliver monthly to the General Manager the report on the done work.
26. To take part in carrying out interview and selection of the new personnel; to carry out estimated polls, regular trainings and consultations; supervises and initiates the procedure of staff dismissal of the department for providing it with professional staff.
27. To control professional level of the workers and to organize regularly trainings for professional qualification increase.
28. To take part in preparation of schedules of holidays according to the production need.
29. To carry out poll of guests, on established by the General Manager form, for the purpose of identification of quality of service level, remarks and offers from clients.
30. In case of production, need to carry out functions of other employees of the Sales & Marketing department.
31. To carry out other duties within the labor function.

Requirements of post:

- Work experience: 3-5 year experience in similar position, experience in managing people, sales skills, analytical skills
- Completed Bachelor Degree, (preferably with the major in the hospitality industry)
- Fluent Azerbaijani, Russian, English languages
- Previous sales and events / banquets, preferably in Hotel, and positions of leadership and supervision teams
- Ability to analyze and manage multiple tasks
- Good written and verbal communication, proficiency in Office programs and Opera PMS , Tars

Working Conditions:

- 5 working days schedule (40 hours per week)
- Lunch provided in the workplace
- Uniform provided by the workplace

Salary:

Salary depends on the experience and skill of the candidate
