Position title: Workshop Supervisor

Location: Garadagh district, 17 Salyan highway, Baku, Azerbaijan

Position Function:

To assist with the planning of all daily workshop activities and ensure duties are delegated effectively. Supervise workshop staff who are responsible for equipment maintenance as well as ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard with regards to quality of service and safety of all relevant personnel and site visitors.

Responsibilities

Daily Operations:

• Planning of daily workshop tasks to cover the requirements of rig-site operations and allocate tasks to the workshop/maintenance workforce.
• Oversee the maintenance of all equipment.
• Assure accurate maintenance records for all equipment.
• Undertake the standard checks on all equipment and arrange for maintenance and repair in line with the operating procedures.
• Prepare the equipment required for the rig-site.
• Inspect and identify faults on any equipment returned from the rig-site and ensure accurate recording in the related checklist.
• Ensure all equipment is packed and ready for loading out as per mobilization list.
• Ensure the proper procedure is followed for ordering spare parts.
• Ensure all stocks levels are controlled and maintained.
• Make sure that power tongs, power units, stabbing boards, and tubular handling equipment are checked before & after the job.

Management of Personnel:

• Ensuring effective coverage of workload.
• Ensuring that all work instructions are made clear and that daily operations are carried out in line with Frank’s operational procedures.
• Responsible for quality performance for the workshop team.

QHSE:

• Understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Frank’s International.
• Responsible to support a strong safety culture.
• Present ‘toolbox talks’ to workshop workforce.
• Ensuring the safety of equipment and personnel are maintained at all times by following operational procedures.
• Ensure implementation of Frank’s policies on quality, health and safety during all workshop activities.
• Know and understand Frank’s International’s Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
• Ensure Workshop documentation systems are maintained and deadlines are met.

General Duties:

• Work assignments must be carried out to the highest quality level.
• Liaise with Operations Manager and QAQC Manager on equipment failures and any job-related incidents, as appropriate.
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by Country Manager or Operations Manager within the physical constraints of the job.

Skill Essential to the Job

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent qualification
• Experience in Mechanical / Hydraulic equipment
• TRS equipment work experience and best practices
• Personal communication skills and ability to interact at all levels of an organization
• Excellent Coordination with supervisor and Managers
