Position: Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

CEO duties and responsibilities of the job:

• Responsible for formulating and implementing the strategic plan that guides the direction of the Feed business and P&L of the Feed business;
• Identifying cost reduction opportunities within the departments reporting to the business line through re-alignment of work processes, and appropriate manpower utilization measures;
• Overseeing the complete operation of the Feed business in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plans.
• Overseeing day-to-day operations and reviewing performance metrics to enable the business to deliver results as per the strategic plans.
• Monitoring the deviation from planned ROI and actual ROI for investments in the Feed business;
• Identifying risks and ensuring appropriate strategies are in place;
• Developing, managing, implementing and supervising over the administration of Feed operations;
• Participating in all strategic business review meetings and continuously assists Board of Directors and Shareholders in strategic plan development and implementation processes;
• Attracting, developing and directing a team of functional leaders to oversee each of their specific areas of responsibility to achieve company goals and objectives;
• Analyzing and assessing continually the organizations performance against the stated objectives;
• Monitoring over the financial performance by measuring and analyzing results;
• Ensuring cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations;
• Establishing and developing relations with Shareholders, Board of Directors, senior management, external partners, and other stakeholders.

CEO job qualifications and requirements:

The role of CEO is very senior; hence a high level of experience is expected for anyone applying for this role.

• At least 2 years' experience as a CEO or other C-Level position is a must– with examples of when they have demonstrated excellence in the workplace.
• Experience in poultry-related business or Feed business;
• BA/MA in Business, Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MBA is a plus;
• Proficiency in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian languages;
• Experience in poultry-related business is a major advantage;
• Experience at Big 4 is a benefit;
• Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management and general finance and budgeting;
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods;
• Proficient in the use of MS Office programs;
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.

• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential;
• Strong problem solving and supervising skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses;
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation;
• Energetic, highly motivated, with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success.

• Job trips: readiness to job trips to the regions of Azerbaijan;
• 5-day work week;
