PROCUREMENT MANAGER
Main responsibilities:
• Develops a centralized procurement program that will add value and efficiency to the organization; • Discovers profitable suppliers and initiates procurement partnerships; • Performs risk management for supply contracts and agreements; • Controls spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs; • Implements procurement strategies to maintain security of supply and optimum value for money; • Conducts business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost down and improvement opportunities; • Designs, develops, implements, updates and aligns group wide procurement policy, procedures and guidelines; • Develops key relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business; • Provides periodic reporting for management on purchasing, controls and processes.
Main requirements:
• Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience (at least 3 years of Supervisory experience) • Experience and knowledge in agriculture procurement is desired • Good theoretical and practical knowledge of procurement operations (contract management, biding and tendering, logistics (international, custom clearance)) • Advanced skills in procurement analytics and planning • Good communication and negotiation skills • Ability to work under pressure and in short deadlines • Ability to work in a team and team management skills • Fluency in Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages • Professional qualification is an advantage • Proficient user of MS Office and 1C
