Position : E&I Business Developer - Azerbaijan
Department : Energy & Industry Regional Team – Energy/Azerbaijan
Reporting to : Country Manager

Purpose of Position:

You are responsible for the development of specifications in of Local/Regional accounts, projects in Azerbaijan and Hilti’s Products & solutions placement in standards & best practices documents. Coordination of activities on the account of all other involved Business Developers, National Energy team’s & Technical services and competence centers.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Accountable for the Development local/regional Azerbaijan accounts (Owners, E&D and Top EPC firms) operating in the Energy Business (defined as Oil & Gas related, Petrochemical, Power, Shipbuilding) to achieve long-term relationship.
• Accountable for Sales development (Direct or Indirect) through specifying Hilti systems and application solutions in all relevant projects of the assigned local/regional Azerbaijan accounts. Leading to increase Hilti share of wallet in the account’s projects and ultimately integrate Hilti’s technologies / Application in the account Standards.
• Accountable the development & Implementation of the strategy of the accounts assigned (Local & Regional), directly or reflection of the global account strategy done by your colleagues in Account home country.
• Primary Hilti contact and negotiator for the assigned local/regional Azerbaijan accounts and initiate the relation management with the high management level of the local/regional Azerbaijan accounts.
• Result oriented steering of the assigned local/regional Azerbaijan accounts to produce over proportional Growth in selected Market Segments and relevant Projects.
• Accountable for Relationship Management to external & internal Partners related to local/regional accounts Strategy to support global Business
• Accountable to build up and extend Customer satisfaction on local/regional Azerbaijan accounts.
• Responsible of ISB sales development through solid specifications on focused application in your Region, and gain more relevance to drive these references into standard ultimately.

Person Specification:

• Engineering (Civil and or Mechanical Background) with strong Commercial or business capabilities and or Education.
• Experience in working with Petrochemical, Power and/ or Heavy Industry business related with Experience in account development in large complex engineering related environment for at least 3 years.
• Excellent record of successful achievement related to Project/account support and specification creation.
• Entrepreneurial approach - excellent record of achieving results by working effectively with and through others.
• Goal achievement oriented.
• Used to Influence without authority
• Above average negotiation skills
• Above average communication skills
• Ability to work in Matrix organizations
• Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories
• Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
• Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Demonstrated and proven sales results
• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
• Fluent and professional communication in person, on the phone, and in email
• Languages: English is a must, Azerbaijani / Turkish is added value
