Estimation Engineer

Job Description

• To work within the Tendering Department to develop tender strategy
• Take off quantities and make complete estimation for the received tenders.
• Manage the tender stage completely and independently from collecting the enquiries until the final submission of the tender to the customers.
• To review and manage the customers enquiry process into a workable solution
• To submit a detailed response to the enquiry documentation and provide answers responses to any subsequent requests for clarification
• To act as the company's internal contact point for the customer during the enquiry and bidding processes and until the final project award.
• Manage the collection process of the prices and rates from the Sub-Contractors and Suppliers.
• To develop negotiate and agree confirm contract specifications with a variety of external groups including contractors, end-users and other suppliers
• To develop and maintain relationships with the engineers and decision makers within the customer organizations
• To handle incoming tenders and by keeping a prioritized listing of outstanding tasks
• To respond to the tender participant's (technical & commercial) questions requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• To clarify subsequent documents and to prepare detailed tender documentations in a timely manner for contract engineering to execute the contract

Personal Specification & Skills

• Engineering Degree level education.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word and Estimation Programs.
• Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions
• Highly responsive to client requirements
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Keen to learn and develop
• Able to develop effective working relationships with Customers, Technical Team, the Sub-Contractors and the Suppliers.
• Able to work independently

Experience

• Minimum 10 years’ Experience in a similar role in Construction Company.
• Azerbaijan market experience is must and not less than 5 years.
• Proficient in both English and Azerbaijani languages
• Commercially aware engineer
