Job Title: Finance Director

Role Synopsis: PASHA Construction LLC is looking for a highly experienced candidate to fulfil the position of a Finance Director. The role is significantly contributing to creating a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement. Reporting to the Managing Director, oversees the integrity of all financial functions including, treasury, credit/collections, financial risk management, planning and analysis, budgeting and tax optimization.

Key Accountabilities:

▪ Provide leadership to finance department of the organization.
▪ Provide useful financial insights to help make better decisions about formulating and executing strategy, and provide guidance and analysis to executive and operational management to improve results.
▪ Maintain system of accounts and keep books and records on all transactions and assets.
▪ Prepare and analyse accurate monthly financial and management reports, including income statement, balance sheet, budget and variance, projections and forecast, and cash flow.
▪ Maintain control of the following areas: general ledger, accounts payable, expense reports, billing, and payroll and tax reporting.
▪ Supervise the Accounting and assign jobs relevant to accounts payable, accounts receivable and broker relationship management.
▪ Assist in the management of grants reporting,
compliance, and reconciliation.
▪ Ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately, in a timely manner, and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
▪ Develop, implement, and maintain processes and controls that are current best practices related to transaction processing.
▪ Manage, oversee, process (as appropriate), and act as backup for processing all of the following transactions: payroll, accounts payable, revenue and expense, fixed assets, cash, bank reconciliations, tax and allocations.
▪ Perform month-end closing procedures, including overhead allocations, account reconciliations, and updating schedules.
▪ Overview Cash control team in terms of scheduling, attendance and random checks of cash tills/safe, in cash with the banks
▪ Overview Inventory process across all locations, monitor monthly and quarterly stock clean-up process, coordinate annual stock adjustment exercise
▪ Liaison with diverse type of notifications/memorandums sent by State Authorities and Government Bodies
▪ Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
▪ Prepare and assist with developing audit schedules for the annual audit.
▪ Responsible for issuing timely, accurate, and complete financial statements for all levels, including Board of Company, executive, and management.
▪ Responsible for coordination the preparation of the draft audited financial statements and all tax returns.
▪ Coordinate the preparation of financial information in the corporate annual report.
▪ Recommend and report upon benchmarks against which to measure organizational performance.
▪ Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.
▪ Responsible for production of cash flow reports, 3-year strategic plan, and annual budget, and quarterly forecasts.
▪ Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.
▪ Provide for a system of management cost reports.

Essential Education: Bachelor degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, Audit related fields

Essential Criteria:

▪ 10+ years of relevant professional experience in a related field
▪ CIMA/FCCA/CFA/CPA or similar qualification
▪ Solid track record from Construction Industry
▪ Practical knowledge of the key areas of accounting and tax systems
▪ Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
▪ Strong planning & organizational skills
▪ Strong focus on problem solving, troubleshooting, solutions
▪ Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
▪ Fluent written and spoken Azerbaijani and English

Desirable Criteria: Master’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, Audit related fields
