Job Synopsis:

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to assist us in expanding our clientele. Our goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting revenue and forging strong relationships with clients. This position reports to the CEO and will work closely with the subsurface and operation teams to access new projects. The selected individual will simultaneously lead the Business Development process and provide an insight into technical analyses. The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated and results-driven professional, with over five years of extensive involvement in the areas of geology, petroleum engineering, project planning and asset management within the oil and gas industry. This will be a hands-on role where the individual will be directly involved in the analysis of subsurface and production data as part of the opportunity evaluation process.

What You'll Work On:

• Develop a growth strategy focused both on profitability and customer satisfaction
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs, define clear strategies and schedules for achieving set targets
• Ensure prequalification of the Company with existing and potential customers
• Identify profit potential, and evaluate risks and mitigations for various opportunities
• Understand customer needs and assist in the development of project solutions that satisfy those requirements and provide new opportunities for the Company
• Professionally and socially interact with Managers in Client and potential client organizations to maintain and improve relationships
• Work with geologists, petroleum and operation engineers, to ensure the projects are delivered according to the schedules and meet the standards set by the Company
• Create stand-alone and integrated project schedules to manage and optimize project delivery process and make the best use of available resources
• Determine the value of corporate and operational synergies that bring additional value to the company
• Define project workflows in line with the Company’s corporate strategy
• Prepare regular performance reports and project dashboards for the Management team and maintain continuous improvement

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; strong economics and financial knowledge
• 5+ years of relevant experience in the areas of business development and/or petroleum engineering, reservoir engineering, planning engineering, and asset management within the oil and gas industry
• Proven track record of exceptional collaboration and project management
• Hands-on engineering expertise to be able to perform opportunity evaluation
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent networking skills
• Exceptional market and customer awareness and presentation skills
• Good exposure to energy, field development, geology, petroleum engineering and related fields preferred
• Oil and Gas industry and market knowledge preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
