Head of the Contracting Department

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Managing & Tracking of contract expiry & allotments utilization on regular or daily basis and act as required.
• Run daily, weekly and fortnightly pricing critical reports to provide head office with insights which will assist with negotiation activity.
• Manage and delegate the task to the data entry team in timely and efficient way.
• Monitor the staff reporting and ensure the team is serving the office hours and delivering the required potential.
• Guiding, educating and monitoring the team in loading of the contracts and following SOP
• Organize a monthly meeting to review the overall hotel performance with Head Office.
• Sales approval of contracts and promotions and ensure the updates are active and live within 24 hours of receiving the communications.
• Managing the Supplier Master and customer master data.
• Updating the Hotel sales & Reservations contact details.
• Support management with market intelligence and Decision making.
• Prepare weekly and monthly staff review and development report for management.

Desired Skills & Experience :

• At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role (commercial and pricing experience)
• Proven results creating and implementing pricing strategies that drive growth, optimize pricing, and accurately and holistically report on business performance
• Flourish when working in a constantly changing and always exciting workplace.
• Experience within the Travel industry Knowledge including seasonality and booking managements.
• Proven experience and full understanding of online product in a multi-channel environment
• Effective communication and time management skills
• Strong analytical skills and People management skills.
• Experience in managing small or medium team.
• Advanced experience with Excel, sheets and other database programs such as SQL, Access etc are advantage.
• Solid communication and presentation skills, with a knack for presenting complex data in a simple and easy-to-understand manner
• A qualification in business / science / e-commerce

Working conditions:

- Salary 1000 AZN
- Working hours 40 hours per week
- Working days/week 6
